October 25, 2005 - Half-Life 2 for the Xbox is officially gold. Yes, that's right kids: Valve has finished work on the port that many thought couldn't be done. The acclaimed PC shooter is making its way to Microsoft's console, gravity guns blazing, and from what we've seen so far, looking darned good.
For those who have been reading only Sunset and Cooking Light the past four years, Half-Life 2 is the sequel to the original Half-Life for the PC, one of the most acclaimed games in the history of the industry. The new chapter introduces advanced graphics and physics courtesy the Source Engine, along with realistic "digital actors" and consistently exciting gameplay.
Half-Life 2 is scheduled to reach the Xbox on November 15. Stay tuned for more in the meantime -- and be sure to check all our coverage of the title so far.

im a HL2 fan even though i havent played it in some time but for that game you need serious PC power to play it i dont see how it would transfer to the X-Box that well Valve must have taken out quite a bit in order for it to actully run on the X-box lol
