Hitman Movie Gets Scriptwriter Agent 47 gets closer to the big screen. by Wade Steel October 21, 2005 - The adventures of Agent 47 aka the Hitman appear to be one step closer to hitting the silver screen as 20th Century Fox have tapped Skip Woods, whose previous credits include the John Travolta/Hugh Jackman action/spy flick Swordfish and the upcoming remake of Logan's Run, to write the script for the film, according to a report by entertainment industry trade journal Variety.
Vin Diesel, who is also serving as the film's executive producer, will play the role of Agent 47, our favorite bald yet enigmatic assassin who works for the shadowy organization known as The Agency.
While no director or release date for the film has been revealed, you can be sure that once that information becomes available we will bring it to you. In the meantime, we're hoping and praying feverishly that Uwe Boll will have absolutely nothing to do with this film.
