Rockstar unveils the official cover for the new San Andreas. by Jeremy Dunham Credit: IGN October 5, 2005 - Anxious gamers that can't wait to pick up the re-released version of IGN's 2004 PS2 game of the year, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas may want to take notice: Rockstar has unveiled the version's final box art. Available for view at the Official Take-Two Interactive Web Store, the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Special Edition packaging is almost identical to the cover found in last year's version except for a few key differences (mainly, an all-new special edition banner and golden-emblazoned lettering instead of white). Of course, the new package also comes with three full DVD discs instead of one, which includes the 30-minute "Introduction" prequel that was previously found in the smaller GTA soundtrack release and an all-access documentary about low riding known as "Sunday Driver." The total cost for the package is $49.99 and it will ship on October 17. For the unfamiliar, the release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Special Edition marks the first time since July that the game will be available in stores. The original version was pulled from store shelves when it was given a post-release ESRB rating of AO due to the controversial "Hot Coffee" content hidden on the disc (made accessible via unlicensed cheat devices). The new version is Hot Coffee free and carries the proper "Mature" rating that was always intended.

I doesnt look tht good. I prefer the white text over the whole gold thing, but i guess it suits what it is suppose to be.
