Oblivion Gets Composer Award winning composer returns to the Elder Scrolls series. by Erik Brudvig October 21, 2005 - Bethesda Game Studios revealed today that Jeremy Soule will create the soundtrack for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Soule is an award winning composer who has worked on a bevy of video games in the past. His credits include work on The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Neverwinter Nights, SOCOM, Dungeon Siege, Icewind Dale, among many others.
"I've been working with Jeremy for a long time," said Todd Howard, executive producer for Oblivion, "and this is by far his best work. The game is an epic-fantasy-drama, and the score adds greatly to its dramatic appeal. What he has brought to Oblivion is extraordinary. I can't wait for everyone to hear it."
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will arrive in stores this holiday season for Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
