A Few Tips On Pixel Fonts By Destiny
A lot of people seem to mess up signatures by screwing up their pixel fonts. So I descided to make a quick tut that may help some people. For this tut we'll use a font called "Acknowledge", which can be downloaded from here. OK, so on with the tips. - Size: The pixel fonts size needs to be perfect. any bigger or smaller and it will look horrible. Here is an example:
The above image is an example of a pixel font where the text size is set too small.
The size the "Acknowledge" is ment to be set to is 14px, no bigger and no smaller. It should look like this:
- Anti-Aliasing: Another common problem is people leaving the "Anti-Aliasing Method" set to a setting other than "None". Here is an example:
The above image has its "Anti-Aliasing Method" set too "Smooth".
All pixel fonts must be set to "None"
- More Help: If you need more help with this have a look at the below image and copy what has been done. (Note: I'm using Adobe PhotoShop CS, so on some other Photoshop versions it may look different.)
