I know this question has probably been answered before somewhere else but if someone could answer this, it would be cool.
I have videos (all soughts of files) and I want to know what program/s i need to convert them into gif files. Instructions would be great if anyone wanyed to do tht.

1) Firstly, I think you might have too much in your sig, you might need to get rid of one of the images from your sig, because it has enlargened it too much and that is against the rules.
2) You need a program such as Adobe ImageReady (which comes with Adobe Photoshop versions 5 & above I believe) in order to change your video files (only accepts AVI, MPEG & MOV <- [Quicktime] file types I think) into animated GIF images.

There is already a tutorial in the Tutorial Index (using videos in sigs aka. videos to gifs)
