My 1st sig so bare with me 
1. first open up imageready and open the image you want to make animated
2. now click on the text layer of your pic or the layer you want to be like animated or flash
3. nextyou have to go to Window -> Animation and be sure that there is a checkmark next to it or you wont be able to continue if there isnt a check just click on Animation.
5. find the animation pallete and click the little icon that is next to the garbage can.
6. now that there is another animation scene go into your layers pallete and find the opacity marker set it to 80% on the layer you want to flash.
7.next click the same little icon that you clicked before to make another scene then on the same layer you want to make flash set the opacity to 60%
8. create another animation scene again and make the layer opacty 40% and do the same thing over again until its at 0% opacity. you should have 6 scenes when your done.
9. now comes the hard part youre going to have to go your 6th scene and click the duplicate scene button the button we have been clicking to create a new scene before you should now have 7 scenes.
10. now duplicate scene 5 and click and drag it infront of what will then be scene 8 duplicate scene 4 and move it infront of what will then be scene 9 duplicate scene 4 and move it infront of what will then be scene 10 duplicate scene 2 and move it infront of what will then be scene 11 duplicate scene 1 and move it infront of what will be scene 12.
11. now click the little play button that is shaped like a triangle to see the animation of what you've just made
12. If You wish to save what you have made click on file->Save Optimized As and save it as a gif. file.
