Videos In Graphics Tutorial
1. First thing u need to do is have Quicktime installed on your computer, since the only format imageready is good with is .mov, just make sure its installed..
2. Find the movie u want to use (make sure its the right format .mov)
3. Open imageready and open the movie u want to use.. a screen will pop up
if ur using part of the movie instead of all of it, make sure u have Selected Range Only click, if thats clicked, go to the bar (marked in rad) and find the beginning of the part u want to use, hold down shift and click and drag until u want the movie clip to stop.... if ur using a BIG part, then consider changing the 'limit to every frame' setting to a higher number, otherwise ur gonna have ALOT of frames.... but dont set it to high or the movie will play REALLY fast and wont look good...
4. Now that the movies in photoshop u can edit around it, id suggest putting all the layers of the movie in a folder to make things less hectic.... shift click the first layer then go up to the last layer and shift click it to select all the layers at once, and drag them into a folder
5. Now click image>canvas size, change the canvas size so u have room around the movie to make ur sig, now go ahead and make ur sig and position the movie where u want it.... be careful, i dont know why, but if ya do certain things the movie will freeze at a certain frame and such, so make sure u have a backup before doing anything with it and make sure when ur adding ur sig that u have EVERY frame click to do so, go windows>animation and click the first frame, then go to the last frame and SHIFT click it, takes some practice but u get the hang of it have fun, heres what i came up with:
for people that dont get it, i hav an easier to understand version:
1. open image ready
2. click File>Open, then open a .mov file.
3. once its open, transfer it to photoshop (little icon on the left)
4. change the canvas size (Image>Canvas Size)
5. Put whaterver u want around it.
6. tranfser it back to image ready.
7. click File>Save Optimised As. And your done.
