I've been using longhorn (vista) for sometime now and its great, the new user interface as amazing and the new fileing system works out great.
I have just recently installed Vista beta build 5112 and its working perfectly, although i cant get any updates and it will run out in about 30 days.

i just looked at MS... naybe it was free back then... yeah. My Tcom professor explained that only if you signed up to be a beta tester, that you get the beta version for free. That was weeks ago, if not maybe over a month ago.

It was ages ago to sign up 4 beta testers and its not free, u have to pay a subscription fee of about $300 - $400. you also have to go to meetings and conferences all around america, thats how you get your copies of longhorn/vista if you cant get to the meetings they post it out to you, then after about 60 days you have to report back to them with all the info on it you had collected.
